Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information LeadLine ("we") collects, how we use it, and your choices. LeadLine is operated by Brennan Verna, a sole proprietor doing business as LeadLine in Austin, Texas.
Information you give us
- Signup details: your name, business name, trade, ZIP code, phone or email, and the plan you choose.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares your subscription status, billing email and the last 4 digits of your card with us.
- Callback: if you use it, the phone numbers of people who call your business, call times, and the text messages sent and received through it.
Information from public sources
LeadLine's leads come from public government records, such as bid notices, building permits, and business and sales-tax filings. These can include business names, property addresses, and the contractor names and phone numbers listed on permits. We show this information to customers to help them find work.
How we use information
- To run your account: matching leads to your trade, sending your lead emails, and providing Callback.
- To bill you, provide support, and send account and service messages.
- To keep the Service secure and improve it.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use Stripe (payments), Render (hosting), Resend (email) and Twilio (phone and text messages). They process information only to provide their service to us.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you text with a business that uses LeadLine Callback, or you sign up for LeadLine text alerts, we use your phone number only to send the messages you asked for or replies about your call. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
Retention
We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable time afterward for billing, legal and tax records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, except what the law requires us to keep.
Your choices
- Stop lead emails by replying "stop" or contacting us.
- Text recipients can reply STOP to any Callback message to opt out.
- Ask to see, correct or delete your information at hello@leadlinetx.com.
- If your contractor information appears in public permit records and you want it hidden from LeadLine, email us and we'll remove it.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS, and access to customer data is limited to the owner account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
LeadLine is a business service and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and tell customers by email.
